Several years ago the farm moved from its original location in the Val di Viù to the scenic hills of Rocca Canavese, not far from Turin. Today the farm, dairy and cheese-ageing room are housed in an renovated old farmstead, while Giorgio Cottino and his wife continue to share the running of operations, with Ornella chiefly responsible forthe dairy.
It produces a wide range of fresh and aged cheeses, all made from goat’s milk.
Daughter works in the business, mainly running in the agritourism restaurant, which serves typical Canavese dishes in addition to the dairy’s own produce.
Farm shop open Monday–Saturday (closed on Thursdays), also open on Sundays during the summer. It is advisable to telephone ahead.
